Detroit.

Detroit.

In Detroit for the next 2 weeks working on a large mural alongside a dream team of super talented artists. It's such an honor to be here. Stay tuned for updates.

"Over the course of the next few months, Library Street Collective is honored to host two dozen artists from around the world who will participate in this exciting project. Each artist has been carefully selected for their unique contributions to the global contemporary art community, and for his or her special abilities to transmit their personal experience in Detroit to a broad audience. No two artists come from the same background, some educated in Europe's best Fine Art programs and some from the mean streets of NYC. The one common thread is that all of them share a passion for art and are willing to share their individual vision and artistic journey with the world around them. From the paint brush to the spray can, we feel these artists represent a diverse and modern cross-section of young artists willing to collaborate with the architecture that populates our urban environment. This has been a fascinating exercise in perception. Each new artist to arrive has been pleasantly surprised by Detroit and the people who live here. We love being able to take part in positive actions that have a ripple effect around the globe so people can see what a wonderful place this really is. Thank you Detroit for supporting the bigger picture! Participating artists : Duncan Jago, Wais, Augustine Kofie, Cyrcle, Pose, Logan Hicks, Maya Hayuk, Hense, Dabs & Myla, Revok, How & Nosm, Interesni Kazki, Gaia, b., Smash137, Matt W.
